Did you know the Valley of Alexandria has a library?
The Alexandria Scottish Rite Library opened in April 1978 with the construction of wooden cabinets with glass doors and surrounded the room walls with new paneling and the members at the time were asked to contribute in some capacity to support the library.
Surprisingly, the library room has changed very little in past few decades as the original bookcases are still in use today in the same room which is adored alongside a beautiful conference room table that was donated by Martha Washington Chapter No. 42, Order of The Eastern Star.

The library has a lot of potential. We need your input, your assistance, and your willingness to use the library. The Alexandria Scottish Rite Library has been underutilized for too long and it is time to change that. I hope you will consider the library and its resources easy to use. We are always looking for ways to improve the library and if you have thoughts, I would like to hear them.
